Restarting Staska.Net
My blatant diggbaiting attempt fizzled. I wonder why?
The story was hot at the time. It was about digg. I put a different spin on it. I was positive about digg and bashed digg critics. And more then 50% of diggers that came to my blog, dugg it.
The problem is - I have received only 9 visitors from digg and that turned into just 5 diggs. I guess I should have studied the art of writing great headlines and entry paragraphs before venturing on digg.
Oh well. Let the bygones be bygones. It’s time to restart this blog and make some commitments to it. For me, the best thing to do that is to make the commitment public. Here goes:
For the next month I will make at least 5 posts a week on this blog
And I am starting today! ![]()

Whoa. 5 posts per day. Sounds quite interesting, hehe. As for me, I am updating my blog twice a day.
p.s: I guess you should start your Mybloglog community and stick it on your sidebar. It would help you to retain visitors to regular readers, I guess
Nope. Nothing that challenging.
It’s only 5 posts a week.
Although since I want to turn my blogs into a full time income stream, I am usually doing 5-6 posts a day through all other blogs I run
wow, less than a week and it worked! i found this site thru a digg link to your top 30 plugins.
good dedication, good work
Thanks,
Goes to show that real content is better then blatant diggbaiting
One other lesson to learn:
If you don’t have good Digg profile with many friends and do not have any other way to get traffic to the post, where someone can click “Digg this” button, do not go submitting your posts to the “Tech Industry News” category at the busiest time of day.
