About

Hi,

My name is Stasys but all the friends call me Staska. Thus the name of this blog. I’m 33 and I live in Lithuania.

I wanted to start something online for I don’t know how long. But there always were some other more important/urgent/interesting things to do. And, frankly, I did not know how to start and what to do. Living in Lithuania did not help either.

Then came the blogs and all the problogging hoopla of 2005, and I was hooked.

I started my first blog (a joke site) on Dec 31, 2005 as a test. After a month I launched a new tech site which started generating some AdSense income. In a few months I upped my monthly AdSense earnings to $450 and decided to move into problogging business full time.

I own a small off-line business where I was working full time. But it felt more like a job then a business. So I put my blogs on hold for a while and restructured my business. It took a little longer then expected, but I found a new CEO and resigned from active management position as of beginning of this year.

I’m still an owner and I’m in a supervisory/consulting role there. The off-line business still provides me with living income.

But from now on I consider blogging and other Internet ventures I might try, as my primary business.

Link Exchange: I don’t believe in link exchanges and do not do them, so don’t bother sending requests. On the other hand, if you have a blog that you think will be intersting to me, by all means, drop me a link. Or even better, participate in the discussion through the comments. I love reading new interesting blogs, especially related to online earning efforts and will be linking to them in my posts.

Disclosure: One of the main topics of this blog is how to make money online. Affiliate sales is one of the ways to do just that. And anyone can tell you that affiliate links work best when they are integrated with content. So while whether I have affiliate relationship with the product or service I write about will not affect my writing, I will be using affiliate links whenever I can. And I will not use additional disclosure in blog posts.

P.S. E-mail me at info at staska dot net, until I set up a contact form.
